Our Mother, Ruth, the loving creative one, has always had an eye for the underlying beauty. Not only with furniture but with people too. It amazes me how she can look at a piece of furniture and know what kind of wood it is, where it's from and when. The thing that really blows everyone away is the before and after of the item she is working on, whether it is made of wood or a flower arrangement she designs, it absolutely evolves into a thing of beauty. Where most people see junk, Mom sees what can be.
Everett Antiques has been in the making, (or should I say, the collecting) for over 4 decades. I don't know how many garages, rooms and storages were full of furniture and flowers. And there is more! If you don't find what you are looking for in the 2 shops, it may be in storage.

After many sleepless nights and days of consideration, Ruth rented a large building on east Main (formerly known as Rustads Water Sports) and filled to the brim, literally.
